Essential navigation and seamanship is a 2 day course that introduces you to marine navigation. Covering topics such as charts & publications, safety, engine checks, tides, buoyage, rule of the road, weather anchoring plus more.

Aims to teach basic navigation and safety, either for a new skipper or crew, or for someone who wants to brush up on their theory skills. For anyone interested in sailing, motor boating, angling, diving and compliments on the water courses such as Powerboat level 2 or competent crew.

No previous experience required for this course. This course will give you the confidence to start navigating safely. Can be taken in the classroom or online.
